Mumbles and Grumbles
Mumbles and Grumbles
Get over your grumbles
Your quiet voiced mumbles
Life is too short
So hit abort
On your onboard
Autopilot
And fly it
Life is too short
Your quiet voiced mumbles
Get over your grumbles

Life is too short to hold onto grudges.
So many people walk around mumbling and grumbling beneath their breath. Often looking for bad and negative situations to occur around them so they can grumble some more.
It saddens me to see people often choosing to hold onto their frustrations.
We tend to live life on autopilot….
……We have adjusted our settings and set off on that course but often things change in our life and we forget to readjust the settings on the autopilot. But it’s important to. Readjusting ones self and ones perspectives is not always easy but the first step to a new perspective is taking charge trying to take hold of the wheel and attempt to fly manually!
Think of the clouds as your mumbles and grumbles. We need to take control of the plane and fly high above them.
Life is too short to do it any other way. Try to be more like….
Pay it Forward Thursday: PAY DAY Christina Jones and Newsletters
So I had a collaboration booked for this week with We Drink Because we’re Poets but something came up with on their end so the collaboration was unable to happen but watch for it in the upcoming months!
Stuck in a short time crunch and wanting to help some one on my Pay Day Thursday I thought it a great opportunity to introduce you all to Christina Jones.
Christina approached me recently asking to interview me for her upcoming news letter and I agreed.
The interview will be available in July and you if you are interested in learning more about me and my journey to becoming the blogger that I am today please sign up for her newsletter to read the interview. I asked Christina about the process of developing a newsletter as I do not have one for my blog and it is something that I am interested in doing.
Given the free block of time I felt it a great opportunity to give Christina some exposure and to interview her as well.
Finding images to use on your blog can help or hamper your blogging goals
Hi everyone.
I just want to take a moment to share some very helpful information that I came across recently.
I had an issue with using a copyrighted image with out proper permission. I by no means did this intentionally as I am sure many others have done but it was brought to my attention when the photographer approached me.
The issue was resolved simply but I felt terribly about it afterwards especially considering how important I feel it is to respect others work. Continue reading
Purposely
It could have been me
but it’s not
The lessons I learned
I long forgot
We all have a shot at this life
No time to struggle or strife
But time to use the perspective lens
Examine those bothersome trends
Well wishes for distant friends
I take a little from there
And bring it with me here
To where I’m going to be
Life is about choices
Trying on our different voices Continue reading

Help: Approaching Publishers vs. ebook/self publishing
So here I am at a crossroads and with questions that I think you may be able to help me with.
My plan is to self publish my poetry book. It will be an ebook compilation of my poetry. Seems like a simple enough process and people have shown an interest so I am looking forward to the release of that with in the next month or 2.
Now in my previous post I revealed the 2 first pages of my book along with a poem synopsis on what you can expect to see from my novel. Both can be found on my blog the poem is entitled The Vault of the Exalted and the first 2 pages were posted yesterday so you can check them out if you’d like. Continue reading

By the Fire
Sitting by the fire
It pops and crackles
Snapping like a crispy cracker
Except louder
Each crackle
And pop makes my heart stop
Makes me want to burst into flames
A burning pain
