Something to think about.
Limitless Time
Photo Props: http://www.taringa.net/posts/imagenes/9971556/Wallapers-3D-prt-4.html
I sometimes find myself reading other peoples poetry and not quite understanding what’s being said. Not quite getting the underlying message. I walk away puzzled, unsure if I properly understood what the author was trying to get across. Regardless, I always walk away thinking, pondering and thankful for the expression of thought and emotion.
I really enjoyed writing this poem, so I’m going to share it with you. I have been playing with the ideas of time, transition, elevation, thought, dimension and progression.

Rainbow filtered light
Shining
As unicorns fly by
Whimsy
Whimsicalness
Glittering glints
Of moisture droplets
Shine upon the glimmering
Shimmer of the silvery mane Continue reading

Is it strange?

An oddity,

I am a big movie buff. I would even go as far as to say that I prefer to watch a movie over reading a book. *gasp*. I love the big screen, the loud sound and watching writers words and tales come to life! I also love eating unhealthy, yummy, buttery popcorn. It’s the little things in life right? Continue reading
Victory Stance. A poem about addiction.
http://stevenhocker.wordpress.com/
Addiction,
It’s like a grappling hook
Pulling into,
grabbing
Digging into rock
A false sense of safety
Trust and faith in a rope
A hook that can fail
And leave you spiraling
Falling
Tumbling
Down to the ground
You grab hold of the rope
Pulling
Straining Continue reading
PAY DAY THURSDAY: Guest Blogger Post
Thank you to everyone who submitted posts. There were so many wonderful posts to choose from. I linked back to everyone’s articles at the bottom of the post. If it was an original post I linked back to their main page on their blog. Please give their blogs a look.
While reading this post I was captivated. I kept going back to it. It was full of voice, I could hear Kevin speaking through the words. This post made me think. It was engaging. It was curious. I found myself thinking about Alice in Wonderland it was curiouser and curiouser. The mind and the memory are fascinating to me.
I’d like to introduce you to Kevin Brennan from the blog What the Hell. He is originally from St. Louis, MO, and now lives in Petaluma, CA.
