That is tormented while I weep

E book Addition: A Duet, Write and Get Published with me
In light of my post The 1 thing that Writers and Bloggers need to know before they begin I decided that I would like to write a few duets, well, 3 to be exact.
I am looking for fellow writers and poets to do a duet with me that I will post on my blog and then add to my free ebook that I will be publishing in the upcoming months along with all of the past ‘Storetries’
The concept is a back and forth piece written together. One will be with a writer going back and forth between their paragraph prose and my poetic verse. Two will be a purely poetic duet. Continue reading

She breathed a sigh
A sigh of relief
The warm heat of her breath
Tasted of the sweetness
Of her heart
Lingering on her lips
Breathing out love
Into an atmosphere

50,000 Views in 5 months
After a quiet summer of little blogging and in 5 months total, I’ve hit 50,000 views on my blog!
Thank you so much for all of your support and encouragement!
♥
When I started my blog I had no idea what to expect or even any idea what to write about. The journey has evolved on it’s own and I’m so amazed that even one of you actually wants to read my poetry and posts so thank you so much for helping me build confidence in my writing. There is much more to come I assure you!
♥
I know over the summer my Pay Day Thursdays were interrupted along with the weekly ‘Storetries’ but they will return in October for those of you that are wondering and interested!
Also, the ads that keep popping up at the end of my posts are not there by my choice, Word Press just decides to put them where they want…for now.
♥
THANK YOU SO MUCH, TODAY IS A HAPPY DAY FOR ME!!
*does a little happy dance*

This morning was by far my most favorable day on facebook when I happened upon a blog post entitled Resolve by Mostly True Stuff.
Isn’t resolve such a fantastic word?
The resolve of the human spirit has always been a fascination of mine and this post puts it all into such beautiful, raw, real and compelling words.
If you have a moment please check out her blog post. I promise that you won’t be disappointed.

3 Little Problems of the Creative Mind
Photographers
They spend so much time looking through the lens knowing the importance of capturing a moment, the moment so that it can forever be shared with the world but yet so often missing out on living in the moment.
Writers
They can’t wait to tell their story. When it’s time to write, it’s time, you can only wait so long before the idea passes or your muse leaves, often wishing to record moments of the past forgetting to participate in the present.
Readers
They get so engrossed in the stories and facts they read that they long for the next moment that they can escape back to their story.
So really there is one problem, often the problem of existing and living in the moment.
So live your passion but don’t forget to also live your life, in the moment!
