Resuscitated
Resuscitated
I’ve died a million deaths
Stolen lifetimes of breath
To breathe life into you
But you are dying
While lying there
Without care
Resuscitated
Emaciated
You are starving
But you won’t eat
Torment, your treat
Nothing left to nourish your soul
You lost the half that made you whole
Emaciated

*NOTE: This poem is a comparable, it is not actually about death and resuscitation, it’s about life and spirit in relationships. I intended to use the word lying, it was not a typo for laying*

[ Smiles ] You are welcome, Jennifer.
Quite deep.
Thank you Kev.
Isn’t it ‘to breathe life into you’ instead of ‘to breath’ and ‘without’ instead of ‘with out’? It’s a beautiful poem!
You are indeed correct! Thank you for pointing that out to me! I will edit it right now!
Cheers,
Jennifer
