About me

I seem to have this ability to express myself through writing and I rather enjoy it.  I learned from a very young age that if I were to write about how I was feeling or thinking it would be well received, often more so than any attempts at verbalizing the same thoughts.

I want to write. Not only about the things that come easily and naturally for me but I want to expand and broaden my areas of confidence when it comes to writing.  I have never given it time or attention.  I’m not sure how or about what or why but I feel pulled, drawn, that the universe is calling, that it’s time to begin the journey.  It is my hope and dream that I get fulfillment from this mecca of mine.

I want to learn and grow as a writer.  I want to learn and grow as a listener.  I want to learn to engage the reader, stir the reader and most of all connect with the reader.

I would rather save the details of the ‘about’ to my writing.  Let it unravel, to let  you experience and get to know me through revelations in my writing.  I want our relationship to be unique.  Have your idea of who I am and what I am about blossom from with in you.

All that being said to help you know about me, I am first generation born Canadian (family from England) I am in my 40’s, I was married when I started this blog however now divorced and engaged with a new partner, I have children and grandchildren. I have raised 8 children both my own and adopted. I am currently a slow travelling digital nomad wandering, pondering and recollecting as I go.

I care about community, volunteerism, education, travel, culture, knowledge and enlightenment.  I have a big fascination with the Universe, space, time and all of the sciences.

It is important to me that people learn and understand that they are special and unique.  That they have a destiny and a purpose during their time here on this beautiful planet.

I share my life, my story, my adventures and teachings in hopes to help inspire others to do the same.

Thank you for taking the time out of your day to bother with my Blog.

You know, an artists heart and a good soul are two qualities that don’t necessarily have to exist together. When they do it’s wonderful to see. Unless someone else ghost-wrote your “about” page, I think you have both. 😉

    Hi Jennifer,

I like your About page, it makes a lot of sense to see who you are unfold rather than tell everything at once. I too had an urgency to write a blog and now 2 1/2 years later, I am still on my journey of finding my Life Work and Life Lessons. The one thing I know for sure, Life is a journey, not a destination and the advice I was given was to enjoy the trip. I started out writing about Rheumatoid Arthritis with the intention of sharing my experience in the hope it would help and support other dealing with a chronic illness. Over the past year or so I have written about dealing and living with my Mom’s dementia – I am amazed how many people have been there to support me because they have been or are going through the experience themselves. I will be interested to read more of your blog. Thank You so much for liking my post, I truly appreciate it.

Thank you for the visit and the like for my jewelry. What an interesting blog you have. I used to write art books and art catalogues when I was a working art curator but have never thought of just writing daily musings like you do. I think what you are doing is pretty inspiring! All the best!

I think what you are doing is amazing from an altruistic perspective, which, with your ability to express sincerity through your written words is the motivation behind your collaborations. It is genius ,though, from a marketing perspective, which will come as a peripheral effect of your collaborating, although, I know that you weren’t thinking about marketing when you offered to collaborate. I love (envy) your writing style and your decided subject focus: anything, the more challenging subjects preferred. More though, I love the fact that your focus is on impact. It’s not flattery when I say that I would do well to mimic your writings to deliver my message.
I want to make a difference in the economy in my community, and educate small business owners on their ability to induce a dramatic stimulus in our city’s economy. In my biggest dreams, I want to do my part well, and see the reigns of the economy in the hands of the ones who actually drive it. Entrepreneurs risk everything, to work all day and every other night through. The spirit of entrepreneurship commands some to commit everything and lose it all: the vast majority, in fact. However, that spirit will not break, and entrepreneurs often succeed after several failures. (Can you tell that they are my heroes, and I’ve always wanted to be one of the many that do succeed?)
Mine is an ethically motivated business, in an unethical industry that effects every American’s livelihood. Although, I don’t see the entire solution, I have a purpose in my life, that never existed. I do want to be rich and have wealth, but I want to impact the world around me; as far as my circle of influence will reach until that fire inside expires and I die a happy man.
Thank you for being the first one to follow my blog. I truly admire you and yours. Any advice on this platform, my style, my run-on sentences, would be welcomed. I know you are very busy, as I am, I would value your input, if you ever could give me some pointers.
    Sincerely,
Ryan (or whatever I’m called on WP, lol)
