Friday’s Featured Poet
Here are a few poems by the writings and poetry of Kristin Peterman.
The fire inside
It’s the beginning of a new day
The sun is rising and warming my face

The fire inside me is fading away
Is there someone who can ignite it again
Each time I think I have found someone
They disappear with the setting of the sun taking a piece of me with them Continue reading
Resuscitated
Resuscitated
I’ve died a million deaths
Stolen lifetimes of breath
To breathe life into you Continue reading
It’s in your Hands
Oh his hands of work and hands of play
His glorious hands that are callused in that sexy way
It’s in his hands that love on me every day

Her hot lava erupts
Into a burning rage Continue reading

The Descent
She fell from the branch
Tumbling on her way
To the end

Prepared for
The landing
She blew in the wind
Lifting, drifting
The wind carrying her where the wind might blow
Losing all control on where she would go Continue reading
