Here are a few poems by the writings and poetry of Kristin Peterman.

The fire inside

It’s the beginning of a new day
The sun is rising and warming my face
I feel cold inside despite the warmth from the sun
The fire inside me is fading away
Is there someone who can ignite it again

Today’s featured poet is Chris Wood from http://www.paintingyouwithwords.com/

Chris submitted this beautifully tender poem that I couldn’t resist sharing with you and after further investigation into his blog I found all of his writings and poetry to be beautiful.  Give it a read and head on over to his blog, if you like romance and passion, you won’t be disappointed.

To Whom It May Concern

Hold their hand

But not too tight

Use your strength

But not your might Continue reading

The Descent

She fell from the branch

Tumbling on her way

To the end

Prepared for

The landing

Lifting, drifting

The wind carrying her where the wind might blow

Losing all control on where she would go Continue reading
